Beginning January 1, 2022, food manufacturers, importers, and certain retailers must ensure bioengineered foods are appropriately disclosed. The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) developed the List of Bioengineered Foods, which will be reviewed annually, to identify the crops or foods that are available in a bioengineered form throughout the world and for which regulated entities must maintain records. There are a few produce items on this list that will be subject to the disclosure requirements.

This webinar will review the key requirements, options for disclosure, and specific implications for the produce industry. There will be time for questions and discussion, and we encourage participants to submit questions during the webinar registration process.
