United Fresh invites school nutrition professionals and produce suppliers to discuss how K12 foodservice operators are offering fresh fruit and vegetables to students, as part of their various COVID-19 meal distributions. School menu planners will discuss the fresh fruit and vegetables they are currently serving and the types of produce items that are of greatest interest, including new products that highlight variety and cost-conscious packaging solutions. Industry representatives will have the opportunity to share new products and how they are working with school customers to meet current needs, while also learning about the latest challenges impacting school foodservice programs.
