New Crate Technology Brought to You by Ecolab and IFCOThursday, October 8, 2020 (2pm - 3pm US/Eastern) |
Reusable Plastic Containers (RPCs) are designed to keep fruits and vegetables, meat, bread and eggs fresh, while reducing damage in transit. As produce moves through the fresh supply chain there is a potential of cross contamination if proper preventative controls are in not in place. IFCO, the world’s leading provider of RPCs, and Ecolab partnered in developing a validated cleaning and sanitizing regimen. As an example of the process documented efficacy against a nonenveloped virus of Tobamovirus genus, specifically the Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRVF) will be shared. Learn about the validated RPC cleaning and sanitizing program and how the use of technology ensures validated limits are maintained.
